iKON is going up the stage of the largest music festival in U.S. this coming March.

On the 31st at 10 am, through the official SNS, YG Entertainment announced that iKON is attending ‘South X SouthWest (SXSW)’, one of the largest music festival in U.S.

iKON will be decorating the finale as representative of Korea on the stage of ‘SXSW Korea Spotlight’ at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater located in Austin U.S. on March 13th. 

“KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency’ is presenting line up of great Korean artists in celebration of the lucky number 7 since its 7th festival. With this, the seven-member group iKON of YG Entertainment, is having their first performance in North America.”, said SXSW through their official website.

Even the billboard of US has announced the iKON’s stage as well. Billboard highlighted as “iKON is presenting first stage in US since debut in 2015. iKON has spent most successful year last year with their song ‘Love Scenario’, ‘Killing Me’, ‘Goodbye Road’, etc.”.

SXSW is a festival for movies, interactive, and music, as well as a large conference started last 1987. As a largest music festival in US, where 50 countries, 20,000- audiences, and 2000- musician team attends, it’s one of the three largest world music markets together with ‘The Great Escape. TGE’, and ‘MIDEM’.
