SEVENTEEN DK has released a picture of his character as "Arthur" in the musical "Xcalibur."
A member of the group SEVENTEEN DK was selected to play the role of Arthur who was born the king of the world's premier musical "Xcalibur" on October 28 and received enthusiastic responses.
In the photo released, DK caught his eye with a deep glance, agonizing over the fate of the king, and the lines of the play "If Sword chooses Me, Be King and Rise" were engraved together in the picture, highlighting the passion and determination of the young man, "Arthur," who would take fate as his chance rather than surrendering to a given fate.
"It's an honor to be part of a great work," said DK through his agency, Pledis Entertainment. “As it's my first challenge, I'm excited and careful, but I'll practice hard and learn a lot from my seniors so that I can express my own colors. And I'll do my best to do a great performance. Thank you," he said, expressing his determination to show his passion.
Xcalibur has already become a world premier musical, will present a heart-warming and refreshing catharsis through a reinterpretation of the mythical hero King Arthur's legend of defending the chaotic ancient England against the Saxon invasion.
The "Xcalibur," a musical starring DK, will hold for paid members of the Sejong Center from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the 14th, and will hold opening for melon ticket plus friends from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and officially open tickets at Sejong Center, Melon ticket, and Interpark on the 15th.
