The group ASTRO has mesmerized fans by showing off their hot popularity in Japan.
Shortly after the release of Japan's first mini-album, ASTRO began pre-heating for the Japanese fever with a four-day promotion for the release of various albums.
ASTRO marked their official debut in Japan with the album "1st JAPAN MINI ALBUM [Venus]" amid a heated response there. The debut celebration fan meeting, which took place at the same time as their Japanese debut, sold out 4,300 seats and topped the Oricon Daily Album Chart on the day of its release, opening a successful roar of their Japanese debut.
Among them, ASTRO's first mini album "Venus" topped the Tower Records weekly chart (based on the 2019.4.1-2019.4.7) and ranked third on the Oricon Weekly album chart, proving its explosive interest and popularity in Japan.
ASTRO posted a message through official SNS of Japan, "It was great to be with our fans with our debut in Japan. We'll see you again!"
After the successful debut in Japan, ASTRO is scheduled to mark the finale of their first world tour in Bangkok on April 27.
